Rochelle Nae'oleRochelle Nae'ole
Budget Analyst

Rochelle brings to the Center of Excellence 17 years of experience including five years with Hawaiian Air, as Customer Services Supervisor, and with Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Scheduled Airline Ticket Office (SATO) as a Branch Manager. In 1997, Rochelle moved to the Center of Excellence in the position of Travel Coordinator in which she manages all travel-related activities for the Center. In addition to her duties as Travel Coordinator, Rochelle recently was asked to take on the added responsibility of Lead Office Administrator in which she oversees administrative activities within her office.

In 1998 alone, Rochelle processed over $750,000 in Temporary Duty Assignments (TDY) orders, tracked and oversaw the travel of the Center's staff and adjunct faculty, as well as domestic and foreign dignitaries. Handles and tracks the process of all travel reimbursements for each person on TDY. She has also participated in the development and presentation of numerous training and conference planning activities, including on-site support for the Combined Humanitarian Assistance Response Training (C.H.A.R.T.) courses in Singapore and Hawaii. She also was instrumental in the preparation of volunteer training for the Pacific Disaster Center, sponsored jointly by the Maui Economic Board, the Pacific Disaster Center and the Center of Excellence, and assisted in preparation and planning of the three week Health Emergencies in Large Populations (H.E.L.P.) Course that is held here in Hawaii at the University of Hawaii, Manoa Campus.
