Following her bachelors', degree Elizabeth stayed on at the University of Rhode Island Department of Political Science as a teaching assistant while completing a Masters in Public Administration. Elizabeth left her work in the state of Rhode Island in the summer of 2003 to pursue a Doctorate in Political Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
