Greg FlickGreg Flick
Program Manager

Mr. Gregory J. Flick is the Exercise Manager, coordinating exercise support with the Center's Civil-Military Relations Unit. In this capacity he is the focal point for issues related to Center for Excellence support to national and international exercise programs for U. S. and foreign military, Non-governmental and international humanitarian organizations with a focus on civil-military coordination and interagency processes.

Greg is a retired Army Special Forces Officer who commanded units from platoon through battalion level and served in a variety of command and staff positions to include Battalion, Division and Joint Staff.  Greg most recently served as the Chief of Policy for Joint Interagency Task Force West (JIATF West) and was instrumental in the integration of Department of Defense and U.S. Law Enforcement in support of counter drug efforts in Asia.  Prior to JIATF West, Greg served as the Deputy for International Military Affairs, G-5, USARPAC, and oversaw the Theater Support Cooperation Program. This program consisted of successful exercises, exchanges, meetings/conferences, reciprocal visits, humanitarian assistance, disaster relief and other events between the U.S. Army and Armies within the Asia-Pacific Region. 

Greg is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio.  Graduated as the Distinguished Military Graduate from Xavier University in 1974, and commissioned into the Regular Army as a Second Lieutenant through the Reserve Officer Training Program. He holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Central Michigan and selected as a Fellow at the Asia Pacific Course of Strategic Studies. Mr. Flick instructs at University of Phoenix, Hawaii Campus in both Undergraduate and Graduate programs in Business Administration. He holds the position as the Area Chair for the College of Graduate Business and Management. Greg is a federally certified licensed Stock Broker and worked for Bank of America as an Investment Banker.
